Aboutthe Opportunity

TheTrainingandCapacityBuildingAssociateplaysanessentialroleinsustainingandgrowingAnsh’sKMC programsinRajasthan.Theywillworkcloselywithouron-groundnursingstaff(ANMs,NursePractitioners, SeniorNursingstaff,otherhealthcareworkersaswellastheprogrammanagementstaff,ensuringeffective andimpactfuleducationalfacilitationinKangarooMotherCare(KMC). 

Ournursetrainingprogrammeisdesignedtobeaninteractiveandexperientiallearningmoduleand thereforetheNurseEducationFacilitatormusthaveexcellentcommunicationskillsinHindi, Marwadi/RegionalRajasthaniLanguagesandEnglish,andbeabletodeliverimpactfullearningexperiences forourstaff. 

TheywillbetraineddirectlybyAnshtoprovidesaideffectiveandimpactfuleducationalfacilitationforour on-groundnursingstaff. 

Responsibilities

  • TheTrainingandCapacityBuildingAssociatewillplayacrucialroleinmonitoringdailyperformance metricsofnursingstaffacrossallfacilitiesandconductregularin-persontrainingsessionseveryfew weeksforongoingskilldevelopmentandknowledgereinforcement.
  • Thispositioninvolvestrackingdata,evaluatingnurses’performanceandmaintaininghealthyfeedback loopswiththenurses,assistingwithtrainingsessions,andsupportingthescalingofourprograms efficientlyandcost-effectively.Theidealcandidatewillhavestronganalyticalskills,combinedwitha knackforempatheticcommunication,attentiontodetail,andapassionforimprovinghealthcare delivery.
  • DailyPerformanceMonitoring:Trackandanalysedailyperformancemetricsofnursingstaffinall facilities,ensuringadherencetobestpracticesandqualitystandards.
  • TrainingSupport:Assistinthecoordinationandfacilitationoftrainingsessionsfornursingstaff,ensuring effectivedeliveryofKangarooMotherCare(KMC)andrelatedtrainingprograms.
  • SpecializedTrainingSessions:Conductspecialisedtrainingonneonatalcare,infectionpreventionand control(IPC),andbreastfeedingtechniquestoenhancenursingstaffcompetencies.
  1. BehaviourChangeCommunication:Facilitatetrainingsessionsfocusedonbehaviourchange communicationtechniquestopromoteeffectivepatienteducationandsupportamongnursing staff.
  2. Counselling Sessions: Organise andfacilitate weeklycounsellingsessions with nursesin our District Hospitalfacilities,toaddresschallenges,providesupport,andenhanceskillsinKMCandrelated practices.
  3. FeedbackandEvaluation:Provideconstructivefeedbacktonursingstaffbasedonperformance data,supportingcontinuousimprovementandprofessionaldevelopment.
  • Reporting:Prepareregularreportsonperformancemetricsandtrainingoutcomes,presentingfindings tomanagementandmakingrecommendationsforenhancements.
  • Collaboration:Workcloselywithnursingstaff,healthcareworkers,andprogrammanagementtofoster acultureofcontinuousimprovementandeffectivecommunication.
  • AdHocSupport:Provideimmediatesupporttonurses,addressingconcerns,clarifyingdoubts,and offeringguidanceasneeded.
  • CurriculumEnhancement:Incorporatenewevidence-basedpracticesandguidelinesintothetraining curriculumtocontinuouslyimprovetheeffectivenessoftrainingprograms.
  • ExperientialLearning:EnhancingAnsh’spedagogytoinvolvemoreactivitybasedlearning/learningby doing. 

RequiredQualificationandSkills:

Ifyouareacreative,self-motivatedthinkerwhoenjoysworkinginafastpacedworkenvironment.Someone whostronglyvaluestheimportanceofeffectiveandinnovativepedagogyalongwithhighimpactwork.

  • Minimum Qualification: Diplomaingeneralnursing andmidwifery,additionallyadegreein social work/ certificationinhealthcaremanagementpreferred.
  • ReasonableunderstandingofinternationalstandardsofKangarooMotherCare(KMC)
  • Experienceinahealthcaresetting,withafocusonperformanceevaluationorprogramcoordination.
  • Stronganalyticalskillswithproficiencyindatatrackingandreportingtools.
  • Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills,capableofengagingeffectivelywithdiverseteams.
  • ExcellentoralandwrittenHindiandEnglishskills,andadeptatgettinginformationacrossinsimple language
  • Experienceinworkingonbasicgoogleworkspace

Remuneration:NA

Contract:6months,withaprobationperiodof1month.Contractextensioncontingentonperformance.
