The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have announced the tentative date for the second-stage Computer Based Test (CBT 2) for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate recruitment 2026 under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 06/2025.
As per the official notice, the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 examination will be conducted on Friday, July 10, 2026. Candidates who have qualified in the first-stage Computer Based Test will be eligible to appear for the second-stage examination.
The NTPC Graduate recruitment is one of the major railway recruitment drives conducted by RRBs for various graduate-level non-technical posts across Indian Railways. The CBT 2 examination is an important stage in the selection process and will be followed by further recruitment steps as applicable to the respective posts.
RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam Date 2026
According to the schedule released by the Railway Recruitment Boards, the CBT 2 examination for graduate-level NTPC posts is scheduled for July 10, 2026.
Candidates are advised to keep checking the official websites of their respective RRBs for updates related to exam city intimation, admit card release, travel authority, Aadhaar verification, and other important instructions.
Exam City Slip and Travel Authority
RRBs have stated that the link to view the exam city, exam date, and Travel Authority for eligible SC/ST candidates will be activated 10 days before the examination date.
This means candidates will be able to access their exam city intimation details around the end of June 2026 through the official websites of the Railway Recruitment Boards.
The Travel Authority facility is generally provided to eligible Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as per recruitment rules. Candidates should download the required document from the official portal once the link is activated.
RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Admit Card 2026
The e-call letters, commonly referred to as admit cards, will be made available four days before the exam date mentioned in the exam city intimation slip.
Candidates must download their admit cards from the official RRB websites using their login credentials. The admit card will contain important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, reporting time, exam shift, and instructions to be followed on the day of the examination.
Candidates are advised to print the admit card well in advance and carefully check all details mentioned on it.
Aadhaar-Linked Biometric Authentication Mandatory
The Railway Recruitment Boards have also informed candidates that Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be conducted at the examination centre before candidates are allowed to enter the exam hall.
Candidates must carry either their original Aadhaar card or a printout of electronically verified Aadhaar to the examination centre.
RRBs have advised candidates who have not yet completed Aadhaar authentication to do so through the official RRB application portal. Candidates should also ensure that their Aadhaar remains active and unlocked in the UIDAI system before appearing for the examination.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates appearing for the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam 2026 should follow all instructions issued by the Railway Recruitment Boards. They must report to the examination centre as per the time mentioned on the admit card and carry all required documents.
RRBs have also advised candidates to rely only on official RRB websites for authentic updates. Candidates should avoid unauthorised sources, fake messages, and misleading claims related to recruitment.
The boards have cautioned candidates against fraudsters and touts who make false promises of railway jobs. RRBs reiterated that recruitment is conducted strictly through the Computer Based Test process, and selection is made only on the basis of merit.
