 Objective: Focuses on skill certification for individuals in unorganized sectors to align their competencies with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF), enhance employability, and provide opportunities for reducing knowledge-based inequalities.
 
Target Group: Aimed at people who have acquired skills informally or through work experience.
 
Training Duration: Ranges from 30 to 132 hours, including orientation.
 
Eligibility Criteria for Organizations:
 
Must have been incorporated for at least three years. Minimum one year of experience in the proposed sector(s).
Average annual turnover from the last three years not less than 25% of the total project cost.
 
Positive net worth for the last two financial years.
 
Compliance with specific requirements for Startups, Educational Institutions, MSMEs, and Community-Based Organizations.
 
Submission of Proposals: Proposals must be submitted online through the designated RFP portal, part of the Skill India Digital (SID) platform.
 
Fees: A non-refundable one-time registration fee of Rs. 10,000 and a proposal fee of Rs. 2,500.
 
Evaluation Process: Proposals will be evaluated based on organizational strength, proposal strength, and innovation.
 
Training and Assessment: Includes mandatory Training of Trainer certified trainers, attendance tracking, and assessments in accordance with NCVET norms.
 
Payment and Performance Monitoring: Governed by PMKVY 4.0 (2023-24) norms, including the requirement for equipment specified by Sector Skill Councils/Awarding bodies.
