Jalandhar, May 31, 2026: In a significant step toward promoting vocational education and self-reliance among young girls, a specialised sewing course was launched for residents of the Children’s Home at Gandhi Vanita Ashram in Jalandhar. The course was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amaninder Kaur. The programme is being organised by the District Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Dalvir Kaur Memorial Charitable Sewing Center, Kartarpur.
