- Scope: Deployment of 376 Vocational Trainers in 358 government senior secondary schools under Samagra Shiksha and 18 schools under the STARS project.
- Contract Duration: 16 months (till April 30, 2026).
- Estimated Cost: ₹14.82 Crore.
- Selection Method: Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS).
Key Dates
- Start of Bidding Document Sale: January 3, 2025.
- End of Bidding Document Sale: January 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
- Pre-Bid Meeting: January 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
- Submission Deadline: January 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
- Technical Bid Opening: January 15, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
- Financial Bid Opening: To be announced for technically qualified bidders.
Bid Submission and Fees
- Bid Document Fee: ₹5,000 (in favor of "SPD Rajasthan Council of School Education, Jaipur").
- Processing Fee: ₹2,500 (in favor of "Managing Director, RISL").
- Bid Security (EMD): ₹29.64 Lakhs (2% of the estimated cost).
- Mode of Submission: Online at eProc Rajasthan. Physical submission is not allowed.
Eligibility Criteria for VTPs
- Experience: Established and experienced in vocational training, especially in healthcare.
- Financial Soundness: Must demonstrate financial capacity.
- Compliance: Must adhere to the conditions in the bid document and RTPP Act 2012.
Responsibilities of the Vocational Training Provider (VTP)
- Deployment of Vocational Trainers:
- Recruit qualified trainers as per prescribed norms.
- Submit verified documents of trainers for approval.
- Training Delivery:
- Ensure effective vocational education aligned with NCERT/state curriculum.
- Maintain records and upload reports on the Shala Darpan Portal.
- On-Job Training & Industry Exposure:
- Facilitate internships, industrial visits, and job fairs.
- Student Support:
- Provide career counseling and mapping.
- Ensure apprenticeship for students under 18 and employment for those above 18.
- Submit proof of employment (e.g., salary slips) for employed students.
- Assessment & Monitoring:
- Facilitate internal and external assessments.
- Conduct performance appraisals of trainers and submit reports.
- Skill Competitions:
- Organize skill competitions at school, district, and state levels.
- Best Practices:
- Document and share best practices twice a year.
Responsibilities of Vocational Trainers
- Deliver vocational training in a planned and time-bound manner.
- Use innovative teaching methods and improve student outcomes.
- Participate in skill competitions and career guidance sessions.
