📌 Scope of Work
Construction and establishment of an advanced infrastructure facility dedicated to the Animal Birth Control Program, including civil, structural, and associated works at Madras Veterinary College, Chennai.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
- Contractor Registration:
Must be registered with TANUVAS/PWD/CPWD or any other Tamil Nadu Govt. department in the appropriate class.
- Experience Requirement:
- Two similar works each of value ≥ 40% of the estimated value in the last 5 years, OR
- One similar work of value ≥ 80% of the estimated value in the last 5 years.
- Annual Turnover:
Must have achieved 100% of the estimated tender value in any one of the last 3 financial years (FY 2021–2024).
- Technical Personnel:
Required to employ qualified civil engineers based on project value (e.g., B.E. Civil + diploma holders or equivalent retirees for projects above ₹25 lakhs).
- Others:
- Valid Income Tax Return (AY 2024–25)
- GST Registration and filing proof (for May 2025)
- Revenue Solvency certificate with valid Encumbrance Certificate
- No criminal case affidavit from Notary Public
- Must provide Site Visit Certificate from TANUVAS Executive Engineer
💵 Financial Criteria
- Approximate Project Cost (including GST): ₹1,39,02,000 (₹139.02 Lakhs)
- Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): ₹80,000 (Online payment only)
- Security Deposit: 2% of Agreement Value (after award of contract)
- Additional Security Deposit (if quoted value is low):
- 2% extra if bid is 5–15% below estimate
- 50% of the difference if bid is more than 15–20% below estimate

- Digitally signed BOQ (Schedule-A), Tender Form (Schedule-B), and Drawings (Schedule-C)
