• Empower Artisans: By placing them at the heart of the value chain, enabling financial independence, and reducing exploitation.
• Revitalize Handicrafts: Infuse innovation into traditional designs with the help of premier institutes like NID and NIFT.
• Bridge Gaps: Create seamless backward (raw material procurement, training) and forward (digital platforms, logistics) linkages for artisans.

Crafting Change: How It Works

1. Backward Integration:

• Collectivized Raw Materials: Train artisans in bulk eco-friendly procurement to cut costs and enhance quality.
• Skill Enhancement: Provide design and technical training to create market-ready products.
• Social Security: Facilitate government linkages, formalize artisan groups, and provide financial tools.

2. Forward Linkages:

• Digital Platforms: Leverage the My E-Haat Portal for artisans to showcase their creations, integrated with quality checks, inventory management, and logistics.
• Market Access: Build connections with retail and institutional buyers for national and international sales.

Your Role as a Change-Maker

The RFP invites NGOs with a proven track record to:

• Train artisans in modern and traditional techniques.
• Facilitate market linkages, from digital platforms to national exhibitions.
• Drive financial and digital literacy, ensuring artisans thrive in the modern economy.
• Implement innovative strategies that link artisans to government benefits and enhance product visibility.

Who Should Apply?

Organizations with:

• 5–7 years of expertise in the handicrafts sector.
• Experience in working with MSME clusters and master craftsmen.
• A history of supporting Self-Help Groups and Producer Groups.
