Project Overview
- Objective: Provide skill development training in Information Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT) to 523 youth from SC/ST/EWS (Women) categories in West Tripura district over three years.
- Target: 523 candidates distributed over three years, focusing on increasing employability in IT and electronics sectors.

Courses Offered
The program includes 11 NSQF-aligned courses:
- Certificate in IT-ITeS BPO, Soft Skills & Communicative English.
- Certified Computer Application Accounting and Publishing Assistant.
- Certified Data Entry and Office Assistant (Upskilling).
- "O" Level IT Certification.
- Certified Web Developer.
- Certified Multimedia Developer.
- IoT Assistant.
- IoT Associate.
- Certified Artificial Intelligence Associate (Upskilling).
- Assembly & Maintenance of Personal Computers.
- Certified Cloud Computing and Virtualization Expert.
Eligibility for Training Partners (TPs)
- Accreditation: Must be NIELIT-accredited or willing to get accredited for the relevant NSQF courses.
- Experience:
- Training experience in IT and electronics.
- Previous involvement in government-funded skill development programs.
- Infrastructure:
- Equipped training centers with required hardware, software, and faculty.
- Facilities like power backup, internet, and CCTV monitoring.
- Placement Assistance: Must have industry tie-ups for candidate placement.
Roles and Responsibilities
Training Partner (TP):
- Promote the program locally.
- Conduct training as per NSQF standards.
- Maintain records (attendance, registration, and student progress).
- Facilitate assessments, certifications, and placements.
- Submit MIS reports and invoices post-training.
NIELIT:
- Provide strategic guidance and monitoring.
- Oversee candidate selection and certification.
- Review training progress and targets.
Payment Terms
- Payment per candidate is based on course duration:
- ₹42/hour for most courses.
- ₹49/hour for IoT-related courses.
- 75% of the course fee is reimbursed upon successful certification of at least 80% of the candidates.

A three-member committee will evaluate applications based on:
- Number of students trained in the last three years.
- Number of training centers.
- Placement records.
- Experience in government skill development programs.
