Project Overview

• Objective: To impart swimming coaching at the NSSC swimming pool.
• Coaching Schedule:
  • Morning: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM.
  • Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
  • Six days a week (excluding holidays notified by the complex).

Eligibility Criteria

1. Pre-qualification:

   • Individuals/agencies debarred by any authority are not eligible.
   • Agencies providing manpower for deck area maintenance at the pool cannot apply for coaching.

2. Experience:

   • Two similar projects in the last three years at government/public sector pools or reputed private institutions.
   • Testimonials or certificates of experience must be attached.

3. Coaching Qualifications:

   • Coaches must be certified by recognized bodies such as SAI, NIS, YMCA, or Armed Forces Institutes.
   • National champions (two years or more) or international representatives (three occasions or more) may be exempted from certain criteria.
   • Minimum coaching experience: 3 years.

4. Preference:

   • Coaches with international/national/state-level representation.
   • Individual applicants coaching personally at the complex.

Terms of Engagement

1. Contract Duration: Six months or less, depending on the pool’s operational schedule.
2. Trainee Ratio: One coach per 10 trainees per shift. Additional coaches must be provided if required.
3. Revenue Sharing:
   • 50:50 between the coach/agency and DDA.
   • Payment will be made monthly based on trainee attendance.
4. Penalties:
   • ₹1,000 fine for coach absence without prior permission.
   • Proportional deduction for extended absences (beyond two consecutive days or 10 days during the contract).
5. Other Responsibilities:
   • Police verification of staff.
   • Maintenance of decorum and discipline.
   • Adherence to DDA coaching policies.

Submission Requirements

1. Documents to Submit:
   • Proof of identity, residence, and PAN card.
   • Certificates of coaching qualifications and experience.
   • Testimonials of performance (international/national/state level, if applicable).
   • Income tax returns and audited financial statements for the last two years.
2. Deadline: 4th February 2025, 3:00 PM.
3. Submission Mode: Sealed envelope at the reception of:
   • Netaji Subhash Sports Complex, Jasola Vihar, New Delhi - 110025.

Evaluation Criteria

• Total marks: 100.
• Weightage includes:
  • Experience (up to 15 marks).
  • Qualifications (up to 10 marks for NIS/Armed Forces certification).
  • International, national, or state-level experience.
  • Performance certificates from DDA, government agencies, or private entities.
