The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) invites Expression of Interest (EOI) for empanelment of Implementing Agencies (IAs) to conduct Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programmes (ESDP) for the 2025β26 financial year. π― What is ESDP? - The Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Programme (ESDP) equips aspiring entrepreneurs with technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial skills to launch and scale their businesses. It offers hands-on training, industry insights, and business mentoring, fostering innovation and self-employment opportunities. |

π Who Can Apply?
The call is open to institutions with a proven track record in conducting skill development and entrepreneurship training:
ποΈ Eligible Institutions:
- πΉ IITs, IIMs, NITs
- πΉ Technology Centers (TCs) & Tool Rooms
- πΉ Central Autonomous Bodies under the Ministry of Education
- πΉ Central & State Government-affiliated institutions
πͺ Eligibility Criteria:

Proven experience in skill & entrepreneurship training

Adequate infrastructure for quality training
β
Willingness to adopt digital platforms for monitoring & evaluation
π ESDP Programme Modules

π Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP):
- 1-Day Bootcamp to identify and motivate budding entrepreneurs
- Target: 50-100 participants per batch
- Expenditure Limit: βΉ20,000 per session
- Special Focus: 25%-50% sessions with industry/social enterprises

π οΈ Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development Programme (E-SDP):
- Advanced & Existing E-SDP: Intensive, hands-on technical training
- Target: 40% participation from women, SC/ST, and differently-abled

π Management Development Programme (MDP):
- Advanced & Existing MDP: Upskilling for business management
π° Funding & Financial Support
π΅ No Participation Fee for SC/ST, Women, BPL, and Physically Handicapped
π¦ Honorarium: βΉ1,000 per guest speaker per 90–120 min session
ποΈ Administrative Expenses: 5% of the annual budget allocated
π Skill Building: Hiring MBA/Engineering students as trainers @ βΉ40,000/month
