The North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Ltd. (NERAMAC), a Government of India Enterprise, invites organizations, NGOs, firms, and institutions to collaborate on transforming fisheries in the North East Region (NER).

🌟 OBJECTIVE:

This initiative aims to strengthen, modernize, and integrate fisheries in NER, ensuring: ✔ Better livelihoods for fish farmers
✔ Increased access to institutional finance
✔ Technology-driven fishery management
✔ Capacity-building & digital integration

📌 KEY ACTIVITIES UNDER THE PROJECT:

🔹 Empowering Fish Farmers: Organizing fishery cooperatives & Farmer Producer Organizations (FFPOs)
🔹 Financial Access: Enabling working capital & insurance benefits
🔹 Value Chain & Market Linkages: Creating profitable, safe, and sustainable fishery businesses
🔹 Training & Capacity Building: On-site awareness programs, skilling workshops
🔹 Digital Inclusion: Registration of fishery micro-enterprises on national platforms

🎯 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – WHO CAN APPLY?

✅ Legal Entity: NGOs, LLPs, Private Firms, Public Sector Institutes (Existing for at least 5 years)
✅ Financial Stability: Minimum turnover of ₹50 Lakhs (past 3 years)
✅ Technical Experts: At least five domain specialists (Fisheries, Value Chain, IT, Social Mobilization, Finance)
✅ Regional Presence: Must have an office in any North Eastern State
✅ No Blacklisting: Must not be barred by any Govt. body

💡 Special Relaxation for:
🔸 Government Agricultural Universities, ICAR, KVKs – No turnover requirement
🔸 CSR-Driven Entities – Exempt from standard eligibility norms
