Tender Overview

The Ministry of Defence, Department of Military Affairs (Indian Army), has invited bids through GeM for the procurement of classroom furniture, metal beds, and modular tables. The tender follows a Two-Packet Bid System and is evaluated on a total value basis.

 Scope of Work

The scope includes supply and delivery of the following items:

Desk and Chair Sets for classroom/training areas

Desk and Bench Sets for classrooms

Metal Beds (Single type)

Modular/Meeting/Centre Tables

Total Quantity: 388 units

Delivery Location: Hyderabad

Delivery Period: 90 days

The supplier must ensure compliance with GeM specifications and applicable procurement policies, including Make in India and MSME preferences.

 Pre-Qualification Criteria

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in supplying similar products
2. Proven past performance (minimum 10% of bid quantity supplied in last 3 years)
3. Experience with Government / PSU / Central or State organizations preferred

1. Only Class I & Class II local suppliers eligible (as per Make in India policy)
2. Compliance with GeM General Terms & Conditions
3. Bidder or OEM must have prior manufacturing/supply experience
4. Valid certifications and OEM authorization required
5. No relaxation for MSME or Startups on experience/turnover

1. Submission Mode: Online via GeM Portal
2. Bid Type: Two-Packet (Technical + Financial)
3. Documents must be uploaded digitally
4. No physical document submission required
5. Technical clarifications allowed within 2 days during evaluation
6. Auto-extension applicable (max 3 days, once)
