Scope of Work
The selected agency will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of existing Fire Fighting Systems, including detection and protection systems, installed at the following WBIDFC premises:
- Registered Office of WBIDFC Ltd., 36A, Hemanta Basu Sarani, Kolkata – 700001
- Administrative Office of WBIDFC Ltd., 24, Hemanta Basu Sarani, Kolkata – 700001
The scope includes:
- Maintenance and operation of fire fighting systems installed at both office locations.
- Deployment of skilled personnel for 24-hour service at the Registered Office.
- Operation and maintenance of fire systems including pumps and related equipment.
- Ability to handle emergency situations along with the people present at the site, mainly security guards.
- Training of Security / Other Personnel designated by the Corporation during fire hazards or incidents.
- Ensuring the safety of deployed fire personnel.
- Providing all instruments, tools and equipment required for day-to-day maintenance.
- Ensuring deployed fire personnel remain in uniform during working hours or when present for service at WBIDFC premises.

Submission Guidelines
The tender must be submitted online through the West Bengal e-Tender portal using a valid Digital Signature Certificate. The technical bid and financial bid must be submitted concurrently in separate folders as per the prescribed tender structure.
Key submission instructions include:
- Bidders may download the e-tender document from wbtenders.gov.in.
- Technical Bid, Part-I, must be submitted as per Annexure-I.
- Financial Bid, Part-II, must be submitted online as per Annexure-II / BOQ.
- The Financial Bid will be opened only for bidders qualifying in the Technical Bid.
- Bids will be evaluated on the basis of quoted price among bidders fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
- The eligible bidder quoting the L1 price may be awarded the work, subject to compliance with tender terms.
- Bids will remain valid for 60 days from the last date of submission.
- Incomplete bids or incorrect information may lead to rejection.
- Corrigendum, if any, will be notified on WBIDFC’s website and the e-tender portal.
Payment and Rate Conditions
The rates quoted in the financial bid are exclusive of GST. GST will be paid extra as applicable. Maintenance charges will be paid on a monthly basis, and the monthly maintenance charge will remain fixed throughout the contract period if the terms and conditions remain unchanged.
Payments will be released after approval of the competent authority and based on invoices submitted by the agency. Under normal circumstances, payment may be released within 45 days from the invoice date, subject to statutory deductions.
