Scope of Work

The selected agency will be responsible for providing a hired car with driver for the Regional Training Centre, Jejuri. The vehicle must be available as per instructions from the concerned officer and may be required on short notice.

The scope includes:

  1. Providing a car such as Etios, Swift Dzire, Indigo or similar vehicle.
  2. Providing a qualified driver with a valid driving licence and required transport badge/licence.
  3. Maintaining the vehicle in good running condition.
  4. Bearing all vehicle maintenance, driver salary, fuel, engine oil, lubricants, RTO taxes, insurance and statutory charges.
  5. Ensuring the vehicle has valid registration, tourist permit, fitness certificate, insurance, PUC and other applicable documents.
  6. Making a replacement vehicle available if the assigned vehicle is under repair or unavailable.
  7. Maintaining a daily logbook with journey details, kilometres, timing and places visited.
  8. Ensuring availability during normal duty hours from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM.

Pre-Qualification Criteria

Bidders must submit required vehicle, tax, registration and compliance documents in Envelope 1. Only bidders meeting the document and eligibility requirements will have their price bid opened.

The bidder must provide:

  1. Vehicle taxation certificate.
  2. Insurance policy certificate.
  3. Vehicle fitness certificate.
  4. Vehicle registration certificate.
  5. Tourist permit certificate.
  6. PAN card.
  7. Professional tax registration/details.
  8. Valid Shop Act & Establishment Registration / Udyog Aadhaar / Udyam Registration / Gram Panchayat NOC.
  9. GST registration number, if applicable.
  10. Valid Pollution Under Control Certificate.
  11. Valid driving licence of the driver.

If any certificate or licence expires during the contract period, the bidder must renew it and submit a renewed copy to the office.

Eligibility Criteria

The bidder should be capable of providing a roadworthy vehicle with a qualified driver. The vehicle must be suitable for travel across the operating area as instructed by MSETCL.

Important eligibility conditions include:

  1. Vehicle registration should not be before December 2017. If the vehicle is registered before December 2017, the quotation will not be considered.
  2. The vehicle must have valid statutory documents and permits.
  3. The driver must be polite, punctual, free from illicit habits and must hold a valid driving licence.
  4. The driver’s details such as name, address, phone number, licence number, batch number and validity must be submitted to the office.
  5. The vehicle must be self-starting and in good mechanical condition.
  6. The vehicle must have good tyres and a serviceable spare tyre.
  7. The driver must not carry outside passengers or luggage while the vehicle is used for MSETCL work.
  8. The agency must arrange replacement of a similar vehicle if the deployed vehicle is unavailable due to repairs.

Tender Fee, EMD and Security Deposit
