Scope of Work
The tender covers the supply, installation/commissioning, on-site trials and training of laboratory machines and apparatus for the Road and Building Research Institute, P.W. (Roads) Directorate, Kolkata.
The scope includes:
- Supply of specified laboratory testing machines/apparatus.

Pre-Qualification Criteria
Bidders should meet the following pre-qualification requirements:
- The bidder should be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an authorised dealer.
- Authorised dealers must submit a valid dealership / authorisation certificate.
- The bidder should have the required infrastructure and experience for supply, installation, commissioning, trials/demonstration and training of laboratory machines/apparatus.
- The bidder should provide credentials for similar works executed.
- The bidder should have an authorised service centre in Kolkata / West Bengal.
- The bidder should be able to provide calibration certificates, manuals, software backup, technical support and warranty support.
- RBRI may verify original documents before issuing the work order.
- Conditional bids are not acceptable.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible bidders include OEMs and authorised dealers who can supply and commission the specified laboratory equipment and provide local service support. The bidder must submit statutory documents such as PAN, GST registration, GST challan, ITR, professional tax challan, trade licence / UDYAM / MSME certificate and other documents listed in Annexure-I.
The tender also requires bidders to upload self-attested and stamped documents online. Original documents may be required for verification on demand by the department.
Financial Criteria

Submission Guidelines
Bidders must submit the tender online through the West Bengal e-tender portal within the prescribed deadline. The tender consists of two parts:
Technical Bid
The technical bid should include all current documents, duly self-attested and stamped, uploaded online at the time of bidding. Original documents may need to be produced on demand.
Financial Bid
