Scope of Work

1. The tender covers repair and maintenance of residential quarters at Police Training School, Jodhpur, including 4 upper subordinate and 64 lower subordinate quarters. The work is primarily civil repair and maintenance, with supporting plumbing, sanitary and electrical requirements where applicable.
2. The special conditions state that the contractor must use approved materials, arrange labour, material, tools and plants, obtain approval of samples before procurement, carry out material testing at their own cost, and complete the work as per relevant specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Pre-Qualification / Eligibility Criteria

1. Eligible bidders should be registered contractors in the appropriate class/category with State or Central Government engineering departments or undertakings. The tender notice also provides contractor class eligibility for civil works, where works up to ₹150 lakh are associated with C category contractors, and this work is valued at ₹51.61 lakh.
2. Additional compliance requirements include valid licences for water supply, sanitary and electrical works wherever applicable. The contractor or nominated subcontractor must possess valid registration from PWD/Discoms for electrical works in the appropriate category, and electrical licence/competency certificates must be submitted before starting electrical work.

Financial Criteria and Security Conditions

1. The tender document specifies an estimated cost of ₹51.61 lakh, tender cost of ₹2,360, processing fee of ₹1,500, and EMD of ₹1,03,220. The completion period is 9 months.
2. The tender also includes provisions related to Additional Performance Security in case of an unbalanced bid. If the bid is more than 15% below the estimated bid value, additional performance security may be required, calculated as 50% of the unbalanced bid amount, and deposited before execution of agreement through permitted modes such as e-Grass, Demand Draft, Banker’s Cheque, Government Securities or Bank Guarantee.

1. Bidders must download and submit the tender through the online e-procurement process within the prescribed timeline. The online tender upload window closes on 26 May 2026 up to 6:00 PM, and the EMD, processing fee and tender fee must also be received online by the same deadline. The tender will be opened on 27 May 2026 at 1:00 PM.
2. The contractor must submit all required documents, sign the tender documents, comply with the special conditions, and follow instructions issued by the Engineer-in-Charge. Any corrigendum or amendment should be checked on the official tender portals before submission.
