Scope of Work
The scope covers delivery of RPC & Train the Trainer (TTT) programme including 20 hours additional dual flying as a fixed package. The training is expected to be delivered in line with DGCA-authorised requirements for small class, rotorcraft category remote pilot training and instructor-level training.
Main Training Components
The service provider is expected to conduct:
- DGCA Authorised Small Class, Rotorcraft Category Remote Pilot Instructor Course Training
- Drone platform to be at least a Hexacopter Drone.
- Drone should have valid Type Certification and UIN.
- Maximum All-Up Weight requirement indicated as 24.9 kg.
- Master-slave configuration required.
- Course content to follow applicable DGCA DTC requirements.
- Ground Training
- Technical theoretical knowledge instruction.
- Lesson planning and classroom instructional skill development.
- Teaching and learning instruction for trainers.
- Training philosophies, applied instruction techniques, airborne instruction techniques, student evaluation, programme development, limitations, emergency handling, mock session, and training administration.
- Simulator Training
- Simulator familiarisation for normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions.
- Instructor pilot practice under supervision.
- Manoeuvres including circuit flying, square, circles, figure of eight, disorientation, and recovery.
- RPAS Practical Flying Training
- Phase-wise practical flying for instructor-level training.
- Master instructor supervision.
- Handling of normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions.
- Final test of trainee instructor pilot.
- Remote Pilot Course Training
- DGCA-authorised small class rotorcraft remote pilot training.
- Theory training, simulator training, and practical flying training.
- Minimum duration indicated as 15 days.
- Special Workshop for Students
- Use of electro-optic payload on micro drones.
- Surveillance mission planning.
- EO payload operations on micro drone-type certified systems.

Eligibility and Pre-Qualification Criteria
Bidders must be eligible service providers on GeM and should be capable of delivering advanced drone training services as per the technical requirements. The bid requires experience in similar services and submission of relevant certificates and turnover documents.
Minimum Experience
The bidder must have 3 years of past experience in same or similar services. Similar service experience is required.
Similar Work Experience Criteria
The bidder should have successfully executed or completed similar services over the last three years, including the current financial year and the last three financial years, based on one of the following criteria:
