Scope of Work
The scope of work is focused on performing quality, reliability and safety analysis of the SLaWS laser weapon system and generating related technical documentation. The key activities include:
- System safety approach and identification of hazards.
- Collection and analysis of existing product data and knowledge.
- Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and analysis of quality requirements.
- Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) / Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
- Fixing reliability goals, reliability apportionment and baseline reliability prediction.
- HFI-related parameter analysis based on role, space and layout constraints.
- Preparation of System Requirement Specifications.
- Preparation of Test Plan and Methodology.
- Software Development Plan Document.
- Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) Document.
- Preliminary Design Review Document.
The detailed quality, reliability and safety analysis is required to be performed using ANSYS Medini Analysis Software Tools.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible bidders should be registered service providers on GeM and should comply with all bid-specific and GeM General Terms and Conditions. The bid document also mentions that MSE and Startup relaxation for years of experience and turnover is available, subject to submission of valid supporting documents and compliance with quality and technical specifications.
